The South Indian actress Madhavi has played the female lead character for seventeen years in seven languages like Hindi, Malyalam, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Oriya and Kannada. The actress has acted in more than three hundred movies and was quiet popular among Kannada, Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil and Hindi movies. The famous Bollywood actress Sadhana Shivdasani was born in 1941. When she was fifteen years old, she caught a gaze of some producers who had seen her performing in a college play. They cast her in India's first Sindhi movie named Abana which was released in 1958, where she played the heroine's younger sister for which she was paid a token of rupees one. A photograph of her publicizing the movie appeared in a film magazine. Subodh Mukherjee, one of India's yesteryears producers, saw the magazine and roped her in her first 1959 Hindi movie LoveIn Simla , opposite his newcomer son, Joy Mukherjee.
