Jaya Prada born on 3 April 1962 is an Indian Bollywood actress and politician. In 1986, Jaya got married to producer Srikanth Nahata , who was already married to Chandra and had 3 children. With the remake of K. Viswanath's Siri Siri Muvva (1976) into the Hindi version Sargam introduced Jayapradha to Bollywood in 1979. The film became a huge hit and Jaya became an overnight star there as well. Jaya Prada earned first Filmfare nomination as Best Actress as well. It took almost three more years before director K. Vishwanath relaunched her again in Hindi films, with the hit film Kaamchor (1982) where Jaya Prada spoke Hindi very well for the first time.
