Rimi Sen born on September 21, 1981 in Kolkata, India is an Indian actress working in the Bollywood film industry. Her real name is Shubhomitra Sen. She is also an Odissi dancer and performed in the dance troupe of the eminent Kolkata-based Odissi exponent, Aloka Kanungo. Rimi completed her schooling from Bidya Bharati Girls' High School in the year 1998. She was first noticed when she auditioned for a Coca-Cola advertisement, impressing Priyadarshan , the director of the ad. Priyadarshan cast her in his hit film Hungama , establishing her in Bollywood. She then played Amitabh Bachchan 's and Hema Malini 's grand daughter in the hit film Baghban .
