Celina Jaitley Biography

Celina Jaitely, Miss India 2001, dons a defense background. Born to an
Indian father and Afghani mother, she has often had to move around the
country, thanks to her father's army job.

She has featured in Bombay Vikings' "Zara Nazron Se Kehdo" video and
made several special appearances in films like Hey Babyy and C
Kkompany.

Celina always wanted to be a pilot, and join the flying school in the
US. Instead, she ended up bagging 'Margo Beautiful Skin,' 'Indiatimes
Surfer's Choice' and 'MTV's Most Wanted Awards.'

A Business Communications graduate, she made her debut in Feroz Khan's
Janasheen(2003) opposite Fardeen Khan. Her second movie was Khel
(2003), that also left no impact.

She has not yet left a mark on the film arena with mostly
insignificant roles in films like Sisilay, No Entry, Jaawani Deewani,
Zinda, Tom Dick and Harry, Red,Money Hai To honey Hai and Golmaal
Returns.

Jaitley is slated to play the character of an Iranian princess in the
film Quest of Sheherzade along with actors Sean Connery and Orlando
Bloom. The film is based on Arabian Nights and will be directed by Ken
Khan. This will be Celina's first venture into Hollywood.

She is also the brand ambassador of Egyptian tourism and D'damas.
