Minissha Lamba


Minissha Lamba was born on 8 January 1985 in Kashmir, India. This Indian actress wanted to become a journalist. While finishing her graduation in Delhi, Minissha Lamba pursued modelling as a hobby and soon became a well-placed model in the Indian modelling industry. The actress did many commercials for companies such as LG, Sony, Cadbury, Hajmola, Airtel, Sunsilk, and also others.

Minissha Lamba has also done a music video 'Tera Suroor...' for the hit music album Aap Ka Suroor sung by Himesh Reshammiya. Minissha Lamba made her debut with movie Yahaan, which was directed by Shoojit Sircar and got released in 2005.

Critics praised the flick bringing Minissha Lamba's performance as one of the highlights. In 2008, Minissha acted in Siddharth Anand's film Bachna Ae Haseeno which featured Bipasha Basu, Deepika Padukone along with Ranbir Kapoor in the lead roles.

This movie was produced by Yashraj Films. Kidnap was highly acclaimed at Cannes Film Festival especially Minissha Lamba's performance. The actress was also doing movie series called “MYSTICISM”. It's 8 versions were directed by four different directors including Soham Shah and Sanjay Gadhvi .
