Ranjeeta

Ranjeeta Robby Kaur was born on 22 September 1962. She is an Bollywood actress who appeared in around 47 movies. It is learnt that Ranjeeta was romantically involved with actor/director Akbar Khan for many years. But Ranjeeta got married to Raj Masand.

Ranjeeta Kaur started her filmi career as the lead opposite Rishi Kapoor in the film Laila Majnu that was released in 1976. Gradually, Ranjeeta came in hit films like Pati Patni Aur Woh opposite Sanjeev Kumar, she was also paired with Sachin in Ankhiyon Ke Jharokhon Se. Ranjeeta made a great pair with Mithun Chakraborty. The actress had also worked with Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan in the flick Satte Pe Satta.

The actress also appeared in Ek Main Aur Ek Tu with co-star Rajeev Tondon. Ranjeeta was also nominated for the Filmfare Nomination as Best Actress for the film Ankhiyon Ke Jharokhon Se in 1978. In the same year, she was nominated for the Filmfare Nomination as Best Supporting Actress for Pati Patni Aur Woh.

In 1982, she was nominated as the Filmfare Nomination as Best Supporting Actress for the film Teri Kasam. Currently the actress resides in Virginia with her family.
