Kalpana Kartik

Known by the name Kalpana Kartik, Mona Singha is a former Indian film actress. Kalpana featured in 5 movies in the 1950s. The actress is the wife of veteran actor and film maker Dev Anand. Kalpana Kartik completed her studies from St.

Bede's College, Shimla. The actress was introduced to films by Chetan Anand of Navketan Films for the movie Baazi in 1951, in which she co-starred with her husband Dev Anand.

Other films in which she starred were Aandhiyan (1952), Taxi Driver (1954), House no 44 (1954) and Nau Do Gyaraah (1957). In 1954 Kalpana and Dev Anand got secretly married. After Nau Do Gyarah, Kalpana Kartik quited movies to look after her family.
