Kalki Koechlin is an Indian actress who made her debut in Anurag Kashyap's critically acclaimed 2009 Hindi movie Dev D. In the movie Kalki played the character of Chandramukhi. Kalki Koechlin was born to French parents and hails from a small village in Pondicherry.
Kalki can very well speak Tamil, English and French while she had to learn Hindi as to prepare for her role in Dev.D. For her work in Dev D, she received lot of appreciation and was awarded the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress in 2010.
Kalki Koechlin was also paired with Bollywood actor Imran Khan for a Coca Cola ad. Now the actress will be seen next in Anurag Kashyap's That Girl in Yellow Boots and in Ram Gopal Varma's Happy Journey.
