Shruti Seth is a popular Indian television artist, VJ and film actress. She was born in Gujarat in 1977.She completed her schooling from Ashok Academy and then graduated from St. Xavier's College. She did her graduation in Economics and Commerce.Shruti started her career by being a model.
She herself says that she stepped into the glamour world by chance. In fact she she never planned for modelling but as people kept on asking about that so she thought that she should give it a chance. As a model Shruti Seth did few commercials which included Clean and Clear moisturiser, TATA Home Finance, Ponds Talc, Frooti, Lifebuoy Soap, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, LG, Airtel, Mrs. Marino Hair Softener, Dominos etc. She started her TV career seriously with some serials. These serials included Kyun Hota Hai Pyarrr, Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand and Shararat (sitcom) with actress Farida Jalal.
Shruti Seth has also worked in Channel V as a host of First day First show and Junglee Jukebox. She soon stepped into Bollywood. Though she could not get the lead role but she got the opportunity to work in several superhit movies. These movies included Fanaa which was released in 2006 and Shruti got to work with Aamir Khan and Kajol. She also acted in Tara Rum Pum, produced by Yash Raj Films. Recently she was seen in Prakash Jha's film Raajneeti in 2010. Shruti Seth is a skillful and talented actress and has got a bright future in Bollywood.
