Padmini Kolhapure was born on 1 November 1965. She is a famous Bollywood actress who made her mark in the film industry since the 1980s. Padmini Kolhapure, as a child was in the chorus for some of their songs like Yadoon Ki Baraat, Kitab, Dushman Dost along with her sister Shivangi (married to Shakti Kapoor).
Padmini also later sang for her own films like Vidhaata (Saat Saheliyan), Hum intezaar Karenge, Sadak chaap (with late Kishore Kumar). It is said that the actress also released an album with Bappi lahiri called "Music Lovers". She also had the honour of performing for the GLC (Greater London council) at the Royal Albert hall London with Baapi Lahiri and his troupe in 1986.
Padmini was also casted 1975 released flick Ishq Ishq Ishq and this led to other films, such as Dreamgirl (1978), Saajan Bina Suhagan, etc. Padmini’s success list led to her most controversial role in Insaaf Ka Tarazu. Padmini was known for her professionalism and diligence.She even worked in hit films like Vidhataa, Souten , Pyar Jhukta Nahin, Woh Saat Din, Aisa Pyar Kahan, and so on.
