Vidya Malvade

Vidya Malvade is an Indian actress, who has worked in several Bollywood films…. Vidya studied Law and worked as an air hostess. Her husband, Capt. Arvind Singh Bagga was working as a pilot with Alliance Air. After his death in 2000, the actress in the year 2009 got married to Sanjay Dayma.

Sanjay Dayma was assistant director to Ashutosh Gowariker during the making of Aamir Khan and Gracy Singh starrer film Lagaan. Vidya Malvade gave birth to her acting career with Vikram Bhatt's Bollywood venture Inteha that was released in the year 2003. However, the film failed at the box office badly.
After a big list of unsuccessful movies and several advertisements, Vidya Malvade was seen in Shahrukh Khan starrer Chak De India in the year 2007 where she played the character of a goalkeeper cum captain of the Indian women's national hockey team. Her most recent movie of this year is Striker (2010)
